The fifteenth season of *One Piece* aired on Fuji Television from October 2, 2011, to December 23, 2012. Produced by Toei Animation and directed by Hiroaki Miyamoto, it follows the Straw Hat Pirates reuniting two years after the deaths of Ace and Whitebeard, having completed their individual training. The main storyline adapts material from the 61st through the end of the 66th manga volumes, focusing on the crew’s journey to Fish-Man Island, where they confront Hordy Jones and his coup d’état plot. The final four episodes comprise an original arc, “Z’s Ambition,” serving as a prologue to *One Piece Film: Z*. A single opening theme, “We Go!” by Hiroshi Kitadani, is used. The first of fourteen DVD compilations was released on December 5, 2012, with the last on December 3, 2013. In October 2024, the anime announced a hiatus until April 2025 for the “Egghead” arc, during which a remastered, condensed version of the Fish-Man Island arc—titled *One Piece Log: Fish-Man Island Saga*—aired from November 2024 to March 2025. This 21-episode edition used multiple versions of “We Go!” as its opening theme and “Sailing” by Be:First as its ending theme. For North American home media, Funimation recategorized most of the season as “Season Nine,” with Australian sets released as Collections 43 through 47.
